How to Resolve Issues with Incorrect User Names in Settings?

We understand that some of our users are encountering issues where their user names appear incorrectly when visiting the settings page on Project Casting. We want to assure you that this is not due to any hacking activity, and there is no need for concern.

Issue: Incorrect User Names in Settings

Some users have reported seeing incorrect user names when they navigate to the settings page at projectcasting.com/settings.

Possible Solution: Clear Your Cache

The primary cause of this issue is related to caching problems. To resolve this, we recommend clearing your browser cache and then checking the settings page again. Here’s a quick guide on how to do this for different browsers:

Google Chrome:

Click the three dots in the upper-right corner of the browser window.
Select "More tools" and then "Clear browsing data."
Choose a time range (e.g., "Last 24 hours" or "All time") and ensure "Cached images and files" is checked.
Click "Clear data."

Firefox:

Click the three horizontal lines in the upper-right corner of the browser window.
Select "Options" and then "Privacy & Security."
Scroll down to "Cookies and Site Data" and click "Clear Data."
Ensure "Cached Web Content" is checked and click "Clear."

Safari:

Click "Safari" in the upper-left corner of the screen and select "Preferences."
Go to the "Privacy" tab and click "Manage Website Data."
Select "Remove All" and then click "Remove Now."

Microsoft Edge:

Click the three dots in the upper-right corner of the browser window.
Select "Settings" and then "Privacy, search, and services."
Under "Clear browsing data," click "Choose what to clear."
Select a time range and ensure "Cached images and files" is checked.
Click "Clear now."

Rest Assured, Your Account is Safe

We want to reiterate that this issue is not related to any hacking attempts. Your account security is our top priority, and this problem is merely a display error due to cached data.
