How to Update Your Social Media Accounts on Project Casting
Keeping your social media information up to date helps make sure your Project Casting profile accurately reflects your online presence.
Step 1: Log In to Project Casting
- Go to Project Casting.
- Log in to your account using your email address and password.
- Once logged in, open your dashboard.
Step 2: Go to Your Profile
From your dashboard, select Profile.
Scroll through your profile settings until you find the Social Media section.
Depending on your profile, you may see fields for:
- TikTok
- YouTube
Each social platform includes a field for your profile URL and a field for your follower, like, or subscriber count.
Step 3: Add the Full Social Media URL
Always enter the complete link to your profile, not just your username.
For example:
Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/yourusername
Facebookhttps://www.facebook.com/yourusername
Twitter / Xhttps://x.com/yourusername
TikTokhttps://www.tiktok.com/@yourusername
YouTubehttps://www.youtube.com/@yourchannel
For the most accurate result, open your social media profile in your browser or app, use the platform's Share Profile or Copy Link option, and paste that complete link into Project Casting.
Avoid entering only:
@yourusername
or:
yourusername
A full URL helps prevent your Project Casting profile from directing someone to the wrong account.
Step 4: Enter Your Current Audience Numbers

Next to each social media URL, enter your current follower, like, or subscriber count.
Enter the number as accurately as possible.
For example, if your Instagram profile currently has 12,487 followers, enter:
12487
Do not increase or estimate your follower count to make your profile appear larger.
Your social media information should represent your actual audience. If your audience grows or changes over time, you can return to your Project Casting profile and update the number.
The fields may vary by platform:
| Platform | Information to enter |
|---|---|
| Full profile URL + followers | |
| Full profile URL + likes | |
| Full profile URL + followers | |
| TikTok | Full profile URL + followers |
| YouTube | Full channel URL + subscribers |
Step 5: Review Your Information
Before saving, check each account carefully.
Make sure:
- The link opens your actual profile.
- The URL begins with
https://. - You have not accidentally linked another person's account.
- Your username or channel is correct.
- Your follower, like, or subscriber count is current.
- You have not added extra spaces or incomplete URLs.
A quick way to verify your link is to copy it into a new browser tab and confirm that it opens the correct social media profile.
Step 6: Save Your Changes
Once everything is correct, click Save.
Your updated social media information will now be associated with your Project Casting profile.
